Lange war es ruhig hier… aber das heißt nicht, dass sich nichts getan hat.
Habe leider keine Zeit gefunden auch noch den Blog immer aktuell zu halten.
Das Custom Rom raubt doch schon sehr viel Freizeit ;)

- new HTC IME (keyboard) with arrows (from incredible s rom)
- updated seo´s sense 3.0 stuff to his latest updates (Lockscreen v0.15; cam v.0.12; weather 0.13)
- added fix for 12h/24h in weather forecast
- added some HTC blodware (EReader, Footprints, Locations, Polaris Office, Press Reader) couldn´t remember if i deleted it in last builds or include it so it´s back again, cause this is a nearly stock rom mod
- added a new shut down animation (like bootanimation, but in red)
- added tweaked google talk v1.3
- moved bootsound to /data/local, you can delete it or use your own (rename it to android_audio.mp3)
- the rest is like you know from the previous versions (googlecarhome, googlemusic3, crt animation, list scroll glow, OC/UV Kernel from m-deejay, WWE languages, APN Lists, unthemed, and all those root relevated stuff (nano, bash, init.d etc)

please also re-download htc stock kernel if you want to revert from custom kernel.
i added a module from stock rom which i didn´t need with the other custom kernel.
so please keep in mind to redownload the htc stock kernel before complaining that wifi don´t work or something.
- saga lbc NOSENSE mod will not be updated
download saga_lbc_mod_v0.4.6.zip and flash it without a factory reset (but wipe cache and dalvik please) if you are comming from 0.4.2 or above, else do a full wipe

- added some tweaks to the build.prob
- wifi.supplicant_scan_interval=60 (old 15)
(this caused that the phone didn´t spend so much time on scanning for WiFi conections)
- dalvik.vm.heapsize=64m (old 32m)
(since we have soooo much RAM on our device let´s pimp this a little up)
- added some tweaks for mobile connections. this should improve network speeds. this should perform better if you are on edge and give some more speed on 3G.
- readded the fix for wifi range made my gtg465x source: [FIX] For wifi connection dropping too easily/often
- added a custom lower-auto-brightness-tweak inspired by slopppy read his investigations to understand the NEW mechanik of auto-brightness Lower Auto-Brightness Settings for FROYO / GINGERBREAD Sense ROMs thank you very much sloppy

Ein neues Update für Saga LBC Mod wurde gestern von mir online gestellt.
Nun ist das tollste Custom Rom für das HTC Desire S endlich auf der aktuellsten build Version die HTC für das Desire S ausliefert.
Noch dazu ist es nun auch in allen Sprachen verfügbar. Außerdem sollte die Akkuleistung durch das neue radio.img verbessert werden und einige kleine Bugs wurden auch behoben.
Der Sense 3.0 Content von SEO ist auch wieder aktualisiert worden.

Das genaue Changelog könnt ihr hier nachlesen:
- build from RUU_Saga_Telstra_WWE_1.36.841.3_Radio_20.28d.30.08 05U_3805.04.02.01_M_release_184558_signed which is the newest version we can get at the moment
- added more languages, cause this WWE only had english, LOL
- removed the Telstra software branding
- fixed the bug with the reboot menu options and icons as well as the advanced quick settings icons
- updated all seo´s sense 3.0 content to the newest versions (sms v.08 will come later today)
- fixed some bugs in HTCAlbum.apk which always FC´ed
- has all the basic features from the first builds like root, busybox, nano, /etc/init, etc.
- wifi range fix, adhoc and openvpn will come later (trying to inverstigate battery drain)
- crt screen off like before
- green list scroll glow like before
- circle mod battery icon like before
- removed some status bar animations cause they where the problem with the buggy reboot menu
- huge APN List
- and a hole things i may have forgot, cause i was awake the hole night to get this done for us

Saga LBC Mod hat gerade mal wieder ein unglaubliches Update von mir bekommen.
Nun kann man schon ein Paar nette Sense3.0 Features auf seinem HTC Desire S genießen, obwohl dieses Smartphone offiziell niemals diese Softwareversion von Sense erhalten wird laut HTC.
Alles was so drin steckt, könnt ihr bequem im XDA Developers Forum nachlesen:

Das es möglich ist die neuen Animationen und User Interface Tweaks auf älteren geräten zu Nutzen hat der XDA Developer seo eindrucksvoll mit seinem Port der Apps bewiesen.

Ich konnte seine Arbeit auf das Desire S übertragen und habe mein kleines Custom Rom nun auch mit dem neuen Lockscreen und der Wetter App ausgestattet.
Außerdem gibts noch ein nette zusätzliche Features wie adhoc network support, OpenVPN und eine neue Bootanimation.

Es ist “nur” eine leicht modifizierte framework-res.apk, die Listen-Scroll-Glow Effekte aus CM7 akitiviert.

Mein Custom Rom für das HTC Desire S bekommt in diesen Minuten sein erstes offizielles großes Update. Das ist voll gefüllt mit richtig netten Sachen z.B. einigen Features aus Sense 3.0.

as i promissed here is the first custom rom for the htc desire s (aka htc saga).
it is nothing really big, just a little optimised stock rom based on the RUU.
so it´s still android 2.3.3 gingerbread with sense 2.1

DISCLAIMER:

what is has:
- usecured boot.img
- pre-rooted
- busybox
- busybox run-parts support (/etc/init.d scripts support)
- custom boot animation allowed (not tested yet)
- nano text editor installed
- bash shell support
- /system/framework is deodexed
- /sytsem/app is deodexed
- zipaligned
- no radio.img
- removed bootsound
- removed some apps
- added googlecarhome
- added titaniumbackup
- added “explorer” a filemanager from the makers of “root explorer”
(removed apps like facebook, twitter, adobe reader, soundhound, amazonmp3, maps, streetview, stk, youtube, googlequicksearch etc because they could be all download via market)
what this rom not has, ToDo´s:
- no complete APN list
- no complete language support (only languages which came with europe RUU)
- no optimised kernel
- no overclock
- not updated to the latest build from the RUU´s
what this rom will never have:
- apps that can be downloaded via market (exception: titanium backup and googlecarhome)
- no removed sense (at first… will add a light version too, if i find time the next days)
remember…. this will only work if you are s-off
flash that rom with clockworkmod recovery from rom manager (it´s in the market).
do a full wipe… thats recommand (please don´t ask about problems if you haven´t done a full wipe BEFORE flashing that rom)
updates on that rom can be done without a wipe in future i guess… let´s see ;-)
so it would be fine if some other guys will be in the mood to start developing.
you can use my basic rom to modify it your way, but please give credits if you use it.

Hey Guys,
so if you have the same problem like me, that superoneklick tool hangs at “Running psneuter” than you should give this a try.
this works only on s-off devices. all you s-on´s you have to wait for other options or find someone with a xtc clip.
DISCLAIMER: i´m not responsible for bricking your device. do everything in this guide at your own risk.
- download the PG88IMG-unsecured_bootimg.zip
- rename it to “PG88IMG.zip”
- put it on the root of your SD card
- reboot into hboot and wait.
bootloader will automaticly chack this file (ignore the security flag ;-) ) and flash this unsecured boot.img.
reboot your phone and use superoneklick tool the normal way.
rename the PG88IMG.zip to something else or the bootloader will try to flash it every time when the phone starts in bootloader.
hope this will help those who could root even with s-off.
